April 2023 Tarotscope: Get up and get going
It looks like the month of April is all about action. Some of us set goals for ourselves back in January, have you achieved them? If these are longer term goals, are you still working towards them or trying to maintain? Even if the answer is no, don't beat yourself up. It's extremely hard to make meaningful movement towards the goal when we're all worked up, this month it's important to maintain a level head so you can take decisive action. As always, since this is a general reading it may not be 100% relevant to your situation. If it doesn't apply, let it fly!

The first thing that came to mind when looking at the cards this month was: What are you doing? And by that, I mean, how are you spending your time? There were many cards that support movement and action. This can take on two meanings. The first being, are you actually moving your body? Physical movement supports our mental health in numerous ways and this is an invitation to move more. Especially with the arrival of spring here in the northern hemisphere, it is likely that movement will be beneficial. Now the other meaning is more specific to goal-directed behaviour. What are you doing to reach your goals? While there shouldn't be a sense of urgency or impulsiveness, there are things to be done and there's no time like the present! For some, there may be some apprehension or stagnancy because the goal is no longer appealing. You may need to revisit your goals if you aren't passionate about them anymore. If this is the case, your two options are to pick something new that aligns with you and your vision or find a way to bridge the gap between your passion and the existing goal. Through all of this, it is important to keep your head on straight. Do not allow yourself to harbour too much mental energy. Relax, stay connected with your breath, and keep going. When you are calm and in control, you feel more confident and act more decisively and intentionally. Adding gratitude to your mental toolbox will also be helpful in sustaining forward movement. Be grateful for how far you've come. Be grateful for the vision that you have. Be grateful for all of the great things (and even the lessons) in life and find comfort in that. There may be some valuable information in something that you read, so be mindful and observant as you scroll your timeline or read articles/books this month.
